Writer's Meme: Sometimes it's ok to pimp yourself out. Post a list of your top five fics favorite you've written, regardless of fandom or the reason you love them. This isn't about the BEST things you've written, but what you LOVE most. Then tag five other people to do the same.
(In no particular order)
Shadowboxing: The sequels are good but the original is still the best in my eyes. There's a lot of emotion and heart in the story especially if you've followed the characters in the comics. The emotions between Tim and Cass in this fic really make it shine and there's an actual happy ending. The good guys win, something that seems to rarely happen these days in comics.
The House That Outcasts Built: I had this idea way back when I first started writing fan fiction but I wanted to save it for a special occasion. I think it's a really great tribute to the Brotherhood kids and it turned out exactly how I wanted it to.
Walk The Line: This was a case of me using a character as a mouthpiece to voice my feelings. I thought my views on superheroes fit well with Vic and I liked the idea of a museum exhibit dedicated to the Marvel heroes and Vic being the only Runaway that really appreciates the idea. It's just a good piece that really shows the importance of heroes and the impact they can have.
Shattered: I still think it's one of the darkest fics I've ever written. The first chapter is so bleak it still depresses me even after reading it so many times. I still stick up for the second chapter if only for no other reason than the readers (and me) needed some semblance of a happy ending after reading such a depressing first chapter.
Heroes Never Die: I think this is the most honest portrayal of Terra I've ever seen. She's not a martyr but she's also not really a villain. She's a little bit of both which makes her simply human in the end. Again, this was a piece where I was talking through the character's voice and I think it was a fitting tribute to her.
Honorable Mentions: Amalgamation, Quixotic, Garbage Day, Pumpkin Eater, Reasons
