X-Men: My love of X-Men started with the premiere of the 90's animated series. I remember watching both parts of "Night of the Sentinels" and even though I had no clue about a lot of things I wanted to know more. I didn't buy the comics when I was a kid but I bought trading cards, books, magazines, anything related to them. I didn't actually buy an X-Men comic until I was in my early teens and it was a trade of the Dark Phoenix Saga. Chris Claremont may write a lot of bad things now but damn was he amazing back in his prime. I read it and I've bought X-Men comics ever since then.
ToadxWanda: Originally the way I got into this couple was my desire to give it a sense of legitimacy. Most of the fics I had read with them were humor fics or fics involving Toad pining for her but in kind of a childish way like the way you act towards your first crush (which isn't necessarily bad). I just wanted to see them as an actual couple and more to the point I wanted to see how a relationship would help Wanda evolve into a better character. I still love this couple and I always will.
Teen Titans: I actually started watching this series because it was on when I got home from work and there was really nothing else to watch at that time-slot. It's a good series although some episodes are a little too silly or out-there for me. The series actually got me to read the relaunch of the comic, although I dropped the book some time last year. It's a shame we didn't get a sixth season. I would've liked to see where they were going with Terra.
Kentucky: I've lived in Kentucky all my life. I can't really see myself living in another state unless there was a really good reason behind it. I totally refuse to ever live in Ohio but that's a rant for another time. Seriously though, Kentucky is my home and I'm never going to say anything too bad about it because everything important that's happened in my life has happened here.
Fanfiction: I really can't remember a time when I wasn't writing fanfiction. I remember when I was in elementary school I was writing stories about Sonic the Hedgehog. In middle school I was writing stories on the home computer and I was making up a new mutant superhero team every other week or so. Of course I wasn't doing anything substantial with any of them because I was all flighty but by the time I got into high school I buckled down on it. That was when I really started to write my ass off and work on improving myself. Then one day during the summer after my freshman year of college I was randomly trolling the internet for fanfiction and I stumbled upon ff.net. The rest sort of snow-balled from there.
