Just got off from the first day of my new job as a Kroger cashier. I think I did pretty well considering it was a 8.5 hour shift (with two 15min breaks and a 30min meal) and it was the first time I had ever touched a cash register. I was finally getting it towards the end and it helped that most of the baggers knew how to do things when I asked them.

One of my co-workers is named Danielle but I heard someone call her "Elle". It made me smile.
